BAKERSFIELD TRAILBLAZERS
MINUTES
DATE: 8-04-2021
PLACE: Senior Pepe’s
Meeting was called to order by President Jeremy Rowell @ 7:02pm
INTRODUCTION OF GUESTS:
Guests present were: Mike Magana, Central District Membership chairman, Caleb Delaney,
Mathew Delaney.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Minutes of the previous meeting were approved with a motion by Tami and second by Dave. Motion carried.
MEMBERSHIP REPORT:
No Report
OLD BUSINESS:
Prospectors Crawl: Jeremy has been talking with BLM about land usage for our event. The costs are very high. He has asked that the fees be reconsidered. Decision is still pending.
Jeremy is also planning a route planning trip in October or November.
Club t-shirts are still in a holding pattern.
Trail communication, still waiting on FCC.
TRIP REPORTS:
Sherman Jeep Trail: It was chilly at the peak. It had just rained so no dust. Everything went smoothly. The trip was great.
FUTURE EVENTS:
8-07-2021 Miller Jeep Trail to install new signs on the trail. Meet @ 7:00am Chevron on Taft Highway.
8-18-22-2021 Rubicon
8-19-22-2021 Ducy
9-3-6-2021 High Sierra Poker Run. Trailblazers are leading run over Bald Mountain. The club is going to donation registration to Prospectors Crawl for the raffle. Jen made a motion to donate two $50.00 gas cards to go with the registration. Second by Dave. Discussion followed. Jen amended her motion to read one $100.00 gas card, Second by Dave. Motion carried.

10-30-2021 Fright Night, sponsored by Pt Mugu. All proceeds go to CORVA legal fund.

12-10-2021 Christmas Party at Senior Pepe’s. Dave moved, Travis Second the club give the restaurant $300.00 deposit to reserve the room. Motion carried
There being no further business, Travis moved, Tami second to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried. The meeting was adjourned @8:07PM
