On the previous post is a pic of the step system I cut off. I didn't like it . I went with something far simpler.

So that pic above is the rock slider turned upside down with a mock up step sticking upward. I just need to fab the step part and get the proper range of motion to get an actuator

I wanted to keep the corners square. It looks nicer and it's easier. To round the corner one 11 inches and get it looking consistent and straight is more difficult . So I had to put the weld on only the top and not the corner. I used high heat to penetrate because I knew I would be grinding allot off to get it smooth.

The sander used to get it flat.

Ha Ha. This step was easier/faster. Having experience doing the blue bomber and big red it was easy. Now to weld the sliders to the frame. Upside down work , yuk

Rock sliders to the frame. I welded only enough on these things to hold them in place till I remove the frame. I fully intend to gusset them once the body is out of the way. I noticed in the back ground there is a cell number. I have absolutely no idea who it belongs to lol. Don't call it . If a woman answers with a sexy voice and asks for your credit card number, HANG UP!!!
