That is fully stuffed , the fender actually didn't need that much cutting in an upward direction but did need allot toward the back to give the tires clearance for turning. the pic shows the axle fully extended the entire 14 inches. I thought it would be worse.

See the yellow and black screw driver , just bellow that there is a rotted out portion ,, next pic shows the piece I made and put in ,, there is still some manicuring to finish it up but you get the idea

The problem is ,,, I don't like doing it so I look for every excuse to NOT do it. Consequently it never gets done , causing me to dread and dislike it all the more. It's a vicious cycle .

Looks good to me! Rust is hard to deal with.

I ordered a rear tail light panel to fix a dent and rust hole , I didn't want to do all the work (spot weld removing) so I just cut the section out that was needed , it took much less time ,, it may have been the cheap shit way of doing it but it will look fine after a thin coat of bondo

Here it is after I hit it with the ol flapper disk and the bottom pic is the piece from Wild Horses 4x4 that I used to repair the rust .
