Gene's Jeep Make over
I won't be wheelin for a while. After Mike fixed my anti-wrap bar I started inspecting my jeep and I'm finding lots of little problems. Stress cracks, loose bolts and rust to name a few. I ordered a complete exhaust system and found some seats in a junk yard. Any one know what automatic trans will fit my 4.0? I'll post pics as I go.

Did you mean Jeep not "heep"? It's a 93 YJ

Re: Gene's Jeep Make over
Just did some research on line and found this from Novak "Transfer Case Compatibility -----
The Jeep AW4 was factory-married to the Jeep Jeep New Process (aka New Venture) Model 231 transfer case, in addition to the NP242 Full-Time transfer case." I'll call you later tonight about it.
Thanks
Gene

Ya, should work fine for you. I pulled it when my T-case went out. Put an aw4 and 231 from my parts vehicle back in. So it's just sitting in my driveway. Needs an NSS switch and a t-case and you are good to go.
