My grandson won't let me borrow the White YJ. So I have to drive the black XJ. DARN!

i'm in, but i'm up in tehachapi, so call me when you're passing through.
nightmare is moderate, as long as its dry. we were out there on
sunday and the weather was perfect(shoulda ran my half doors)
my crystal ball of weather doesn't go that far ahead, but it should be nice

I'm in, I'm out..... ugh!
RCV didn't send all the necessary parts to fix the burfield... and now they think I found a bug in their design. They have claimed in the past that 45 degrees was the limit of the joint, now they are telling me to limit to 42 and want to see the joint to see if the shaft is slipping out. So I sent it off today and the only promise they would make me was that I would be up before my Hammers trip on the 30th.
Sucks... I wanted to try this trail out before it was closed for the season.
Have fun boys and girls!!

jeremy,, some of us are "not street legal" can we(as a group) park in the dirt parking area across the hwy from the recardo camp ground entrance
we can hop on the trail to nightmare right there and never touch pavement

Sure. I trailer to the Jawbone Ranger station and unload. Is that dirt parking lot large enough to hold 15 or so rigs?

absolutly ,, tons of room. do you know the spot. it is just inside the canyon mouth, where the red rocks start. recardo camp ground entrance is on the left, the dirt parking lot is on the right, just before the recardo entrance, and, again,,, we hop on the trail right there out of the parking lot, without touching pavement

It looks like we're going to have sunshine and low winds, should be a great day to get outside and enjoy. Everyone's welcome, come on out.
