BAKERSFIELD TRAILBLAZERS
MINUTES
DATE: 10-04-2023
PLACE: Senior Pepe’s
Meeting was called to order by President Jeremy Rowell @ 7:10pm
INTRODUCTION OF GUESTS:
Guests introduced were: Ron Brummett, Susan & Dave Llewellyn & Matt Ames.
APPROVAL OF MINUES:
Minutes of the previous meeting were approved with a motion from Ken, second by Justin. Motion carried.
MEMBERSHIP REPORT:
No report
OLD BUSINESS:
Central District meeting to be hosted by Trailblazers on 10/07/23 at Broken Yolk Café. Jeremy moved, Kyle second, club purchase a $50.00 card for raffle. Motion carried.
Veteran’s Day Parade is 11/11/23. Contact Jen for further information.
Prospectors Crawl plans are coming together. Sandy moved, Dave second, the Club give Brodes BBQ a deposit of $500.00 for food at Calico. Motion carried.
The Christmas party will be held at the home of the Rowells. It will be a potluck. More information at the next meeting.
NEW BUSINESS:
OHV Park in Kern County. Location James Road and Caliente Creek. Jeremy spoke at the BOD of Supervisors meeting.
Moab Trail closure. BLM closed 317 miles of trails. Discussion followed.
Sequoias Forest Plan is out. Stewards are teaming up with CA4WDC to voice objections to the Plan. Mcgivers Trail is closed. Trailblazers cannot replace the signs on the trail.
