BAKERSFIELD TRAILBLAZERS
MINUTES
DATE: 7-5-2023
PLACE: Senior Pepe’s
Meeting was called to order by President Jeremy Rowell @ 7:08
INTRODUCTION OF GUESTS:
Guests introduced were: Jeff Spencer, Mark Habberfield, Brandon Tootie, Kim & Bill Hoffman, Wendy Ward & Chris Scott, Kenny Shaffer.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Minutes of the previous meeting were approved with a motion by Tami, second by Josue. Motion carried.
MEMBERSHIP REPORT:
Trailblazers welcomed Brandon Tootie, Kim & Bill Hoffman & Wendy Ward to the Club.
OLD Business:
Donation to Stewards of Sequoias. Jeremy introduced Chris Horgan to the membership. The Trailblazers presented a donation in the amount of $17,000.00 for their continued efforts in the Sequoia National Forest. Chris thanked everyone for our continued support.
The Club purchased generator from American Off Road for our events.
NEW BUSINESS:
Jeremy made a motion, Doug second, we make Richard & Patti Abruzzo, Chris & Mariah Earl, Joe & Jan Stocker, Jack & Karen Branch, Tim & Julie Barnes & Richard Kemp honorary members of the Bakersfield Trailblazers. Motion carried.
Travis moved, Tamera second, the club donate to Friends of Oceano, CA4WDC, CORVA in the amount of $2500 each. Motion carried.
TRIP REPORTS:
There were several trip reports given.
FUTURE RUNS:
High Sierra Poker Run 9/1-4/2023, Big Bear 9/22-24/2023, Fright Night 10/20-21/2023, Veterans parade11/11/2023
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned @7:53 with a motion by Lois, second by Tami. Motion carried. Respectfully submitted Marge Aichele
