Meeting Minutes 6-7-23 Approved

BAKERSFIELD TRAILBLAZERS
MINUTES
DATE: 6-7-2023
PLACE: Senior Pepe’s
Meeting was called to order by President Jeremy Rowell @ 7:18.
INTRODUCTION OF GUESTS:
Guests introduced were: Ron Imloof, Kenn & Debbie Morgan, Kenny Shaffer, Troy Carroll & Brandon Carpenter.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Minutes were approved as corrected with a motion by Ken, second by Ryan. Motion carried.
MENBERSHIP REPORT:
Trailblazers welcomed Brandon Carpenter, Kenn & Debbie Morgan to the Club.
NEW BUSINESS:
Lois moved, Ken second, we give a check to the Stewards of the Sequoia in the amount of $17,000.00. Motion carried.
Misty moved, second by Gabriel, we make Sandy Henriksen an honorary member of the Trailblazers. Motion carried.
MEMBERSHIP DUES:
Dues are due.
OLD BUSINESS:
Mike Hodges has accepted the new position of Run Coordinator.
SEARCH FOR NEW VENUE:
Misty gave the members the names of two venue that may be suitable for our monthly club meetings: The options were the Firehouse on White Lane and the Boulevard. The members discussed both options. After the discussion, the members decided to stay at our current meeting place.
ELECTION OF OFFICERS:
Those running for office were: President Jeremy Rowell, VP Shea Sanders, Kirk Oberg, Treasurer Dave Hess, Secretary Marge Aichele, Delegate Travis Aragon. New officers for the ensuing year: President Jeremy Rowell, VP Kirk Oberg, Treasurer Dave Hess, Delegate Travis Aragon.
TRIP REPORTS:
There were several trip reports given.
FUTURE RUNS:
Pismo Run tentative 7/15/2023
High Sierra Poker Run 09/1-4/2023
Big Bear 09/22-24/2023
Fright Night 10/20-21-2023
Veterans Day Parade 11/11/2023
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned with a motion by Jen, second by Tami, Motion carried.
