Meeting Called to Order By: Jeremy

Introduction of Guest(s):

Jeremy opened meeting with welcome greeting, appreciation for meeting attendance and with introductions of 5 visitors (Chad, Jeff, Chris, Denny & Maria (members in the 70’s), no new members, and a welcome back to Nick & Carole.

Minutes of Previous Meeting: Special Reports/Guest Speaker
• Minutes submitted for Approval None
• Changes: none
• Motion by Tim, second by Tami and approved by motion.

Accounts Receivable: 0
Other Current Assets: 1,580.50

• Financial Report provided by Richard Abruzzo.

New Business:
1. Calico: All raffle profits go to Stewards of the Sequoia.
2. Club Officer Nominations:
a. Nomination Committee: Ande & Patti
b. Positions: Club President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary. Also, Cal 4 Wheel Delegate who generally attends 1 meeting every quarter.
3. Adopt a Trail: Renewed for 3 years
4. Red Rock General Plan Revision: Early plan changes which include Concepts 1-4 pose very real threat of closing Last Change Canyon and Nighmare Gulch along with other closures and/or restrictions. Club encourages members to complete and submit comment cards opposing proposed closures to info@RedRockGP.com by April 26, 2019. Suggestion by Dave Hess to also send comments to State Senator. Contact information will be listed on the Trailblazers website.
5. Miller Trail: Anticipated opening date is May 5.

Old Business:

1. Emergency Kit: Reminder that if you’re planning a run, you can contact Jeremy to sign out.
Upcoming Runs and Events:

Event/Place Date Meeting Place/Description Meeting Time
Calico April 6-7 Campsite has been reserved for ticket sales (2 nights) and signs to alleviate excessive foot traffic.
Registration will begin between 3 and 4 pm
Patti Abruzzo – In charge of food service; dinner at approx. 6 pm; food and helper sign up at March mtg; drink added this year; $50 early, $60 late registration.
Scotty Maxwell – In charge of Runs.
Jeremy Rowell – In charge of Raffle; looking for raffle donations. Bring chairs to Raffle and purchase lots of tickets! Starts at 7 pm. May need help stuffing last minute items into bags.
Neil Johnson – In charge of Tee-Shirt Sales, order by 24th if possible.
Ryan Utt – In charge of meat. Motion by Jen for club to pay $500 towards meat purchase, second by Joe and approved by motion.
Friday night run: Begins at 8 pm. Some tight turns so large rigs and trucks not recommended.
Fwy Rdge Cleanup run TBD
Nightmare Gulch Jeremy scheduling hike with Chris Horgan and BLM officials to study why site was closed. TBD
Moab Sep 27 – Oct 6, 2019 Trip will take place first week of October; meeting location TBD
Contact Jeremy to get hooked up; zip line, horseback riding, river rafting, and other fun options available.
Show of Hands- 12 families interested; rigs can hook up with those in condos, etc. TBD
