Introduction of Guest(s):

Jeremy opened meeting with welcome greeting, appreciation for meeting attendance and with introductions of 6 visitors (David & Kellie Rodriguez, Tony Herron, Jeff Craft, Ken & Kris Armstrong, 1 new member (Matt Evarts), and a special welcome to original member Jim Rogers.

Scotty King of Hammers Saw races and has lots of fun.
Jeremy & Travis King of Hammers No dust, good weather, loads of fun.
Rob Last Chance Good turn out; another one scheduled for the 30th.
Brian & Earl South of Tucson Three border patrol run-ins, but lots of fun. Great Saguaro Cactus sights, petroglyphs.
Jeremy Snow run 15 – 16 All jeeps, but one Toyota. Snow can be deep/slick; lesson learned!
Ken Halloween Springs Rd (Near Baker) Stayed at State Line; Kelso, Mojave Trail, Death Valley, Titus Cyn closed for weather.

New Business:
1. CPR training: Star CPR in Tehachapi; National Forrest does for free. Kern: Portion of CPR training is available online and lasts approx 3 hours, then 30 minutes hands on training is required to receive certification. Total for Kern program is $95.

Old Business:

1. Sawyer Stewart training opportunities: One in Ojai end of February. Five members attended, three received new certification and two were re-certified. A weekend’s worth of work well done, thank you to all who participated!

2. Emergency Kit: Reminder that if you’re planning a run, you can contact Jeremy to sign out.

Upcoming Runs and Events:

Calico April 6-7 Campsite has been reserved for ticket sales (2 nights) and signs to alleviate excessive foot traffic.
Patti Abruzzo – In charge of food service; dinner at approx. 6 pm; food and helper sign up at March mtg; drink added this year; $50 early, $60 late registration.
Scotty Maxwell – In charge of Runs.
Jeremy Rowell – In charge of Raffle; looking for raffle donations. Bring chairs to Raffle.
Neil Johnson – In charge of Tee-Shirt Sales, order by 24th if possible.
Ryan Utt – In charge of meat. Motion by Jen for club to pay $500 towards meat purchase, second by Joe and approved by motion.
Moab Sep 27 – Oct 6, 2019 Trip will take place first week of October; meeting location TBD
Contact Jeremy to get hooked up; zip line, horseback riding, river rafting, and other fun options available.
Show of Hands- 12 families interested; rigs can hook up with those in condos, etc.

C4WDA

Convention held 2/15-17. Fee structure changes:
1. Annual fee increased to $50.
2. Looking to remove option to pro-rate fee for those registering mid-year.
3. New procedure is to bill members directly with membership running annually from billing date. The Trailblazers contacted C4WDA that we “Opt out” of this new procedure. C4WDA agreed.
