Coyote Lake Sept 12/14 2014

Postby Jeremyrowell » Mon Sep 15, 2014 4:32 pm

I really had a blast running this trail! We need to do it again next year. The weather was nice and cool while it was 100+ here in Bako! We hit the trail head around 10am and made Coyote Lake around 5:30. David struggled through the trail and had to be tugged 7 or 8 times. It is a pretty challenging trail. I took a swim in the lake and then my daughter and I set up camp. We pretty much had the place to ourselves… until the Bear Showed up! Quick thinking by Richard and Patti sent the Bear up a tree. We kept eyes on it until it came down and took off running. The trip out went a little faster as Gravity helped David out. only had to be tugged a couple times. We left Camp at 9am and I made it home by 5:30.

This was the toughest trail I've been on. I had so much fun! Pick this line... oops that didn't work, well try this line... oops. Coyote Lake is one of the best places in the world. Sign me up for next year.
